Altar Guild
Members of the Altar Guild take care of items on the altar and are responsible for setting up the altar for communion.
This is a very special way to serve the Lord by preparing the sacrament for distribution.
Call the church office if you are interested in helping.

Altar Flower Committee
Altar Flower Committee is responsible for coordinating the flowers in the sanctuary for the special church holidays.

Choir
Saint John's has choirs for singers aged 8 and above including the Treble Choir, Youth Choir, Chancel Choir and Vocal Ensemble. There are also Youth and Adult bell choirs and a brass ensemble that rehearse weekly and play regularly. Please see Music for further information

Ushers
At each service we are greeted as we enter church by ushers. Some of the duties of ushers are collecting the offering,
assisting people to the altar for communion, baptisms etc.

Readers
At each service we have congregation members read the Old Testament lesson and the Epistle lesson.
Readers are also called upon for special dramatic presentations at festival services.
